Welcome to The World Salsa Council

The original aim of the founders of the World Salsa Council was to establish a co-ordinating organisation to enable teachers to work together on uniform lines in every country where Salsa is an established dance phenomenon.

The main aim of the Council is to provide students, dancers and teachers and organisations the resources and support to ensure that salsa dance and its enjoyment continues to grow.

Whereas this has been achieved in many areas of Dance this still needs to be been achieved for Salsa.

There are many organisations around the world and in many countries that compete with each other to the detriment of the beauty of this wonderful dance.

As such the council accepts members from any organisation and any style at student, Teacher, and Perfomer levels. Membership is FREE on application.
